the  Process

First, I will conduct an in depth review of your needs, determine job requirements, generate a work schedule, and create a budget. Next I will work with you and your architect to develop a conceptual architectural design.  I will evaluate and determine the use of the existing furniture, analyze the functionality of space, and take all necessary measurements. The next step will be to develop a strategic design concept including color palette, aesthetic finishes and materials, select appliances and fixtures, provide a detailed finish schedule, and select everything for the space from floor to ceiling. Next I’ll create the construction documents including a space plan, furniture layout, and detailed floor plans for each specific trade. Construction drawings may include elevations of all designed spaces, lighting plans, perspective renderings, tile drawings and specifications, as well as sketches or other visuals to further your understanding of the overall vision and design. I will purchase all materials on your behalf, coordinate and procure approved items, consult with trades and assist with negotiations and estimating. During installation, I will make frequent job site visits to ensure the project's design is carried out.
